BURGLARY ALERT

There have been a number of recent burglaries our neighborhood and other parts of Ellicott City. Entry has been through unlocked doors, sliding doors and garage doors, even while people have been home.

Please remember to do the following:

• Keep doors and windows locked at night, and when you are not at home
• Use "Charley Bars" to secure sliding doors
• Keep exterior lights on at night
• Be aware of, and as appropriate, report any suspicious activities in the community
